IBM works with EU to more reliable chips

IBM wants to get together, according to a press release with companies and universities in the European Union in order to improve the reliability and efficiency of semiconductor chips. The EU-funded organization called Diamond Consortium. The project has a timeframe of three years.
An objective of the Diamond project is to work together to find a more systematic approach to search for chip defects. Currently, 70 percent of the work in the development of a chip inserted into the debugging, says IBM. The majority of them will invest in order to find the error and correct it.
